Benefits Realisation Management

It is worth remembering here, that the only reason for undertaking change is to realise the envisaged and planned benefits.  It is important therefore that a strong focus is maintained on benefits realization throughout a programme / projects lifecycle.

The principle Benefits Realisation Management services offered are:

  • Working closely with the Programme / Project Senior Responsible Officer (SRO) to initially develop the outline of the change envisaged to shape the key aspects of the change into a high level strategic outline Business Case.
  • Working closely with identified impacted key business as usual employees and customer segments to develop the understanding and analysis of the potential impacts of the envisaged piece of change.
  • Develop the Benefits Management Strategy for the programme / project
  • Develop the Benefits and Operating Costs Calculation model
  • Develop the Benefits and Operating Costs Profiles
  • Develop the Benefits Realisation Plan
  • Source Management Information (MI) that is required to enable the tracking of benefits and operating cost realization
  • Develop and maintain the Benefits Tracking Model and executive Reporting framework and reports.
  • Working closely with the programme / project SRO, drive the realization of the planned benefits
  • Develop and obtain sign off from the SRO to the Benefits Review Report following the closure of the programme / project and the realization of the planned benefits
